Hello Wizards and Witches of the Spiral!
As several of us may know, the ever so anticipated end to the Morganthe storyline is coming to a close very soon, and people are waist deep in anticipation of what's soon to come. Not only is this the final world in the Morganthe Arc, but it's also when our wizards could possibly reach triple digits in level. As a long time Wizard101 player myself, it really means allot how Kingsisle has managed to get this far these past couple of years, so prop's to you, KI!
Now, before I get started, I just want to say this is all theory crafting. These idea's don't actually represent what content is about to emerge and any similarity with my theories and the actual game are of a total coincidence. (I don't have any leaks from KI *Pulls out Cross and Garlic Necklace*)
Those who have been in the community lately might have seen the hoopla about the new world being a world related to insects. Some think this is a good idea, some think this is a horrible idea. I, on the other hand, think this is a magnificent idea! We are talking about the Queen of the Shadow Web here, I would love to have a world to distinctively correlate with the theme that Morganthe represents! If the spiders and over grown cockroach goliath's weren't a hint already, I think that a world chalk FULL of them would be a perfect finale to this spectacular story.
Many people, before this surplus of Insect theories, have believed that the new world was going to be something in the sort of "Pre-Celestia", and let me tell you why that wouldn't happen.
Morganthe had invaded Celestia to acquire the powers of the Sun, Moon, and Stars, that were being kept by the Celestial Army. By the time our wizard's had arrived to Celestia, the war between the Celestial Army and Shadow Army was coming to a close, and Morganthe had already obtained the Magic of the Stars and the Moon. We had just so happen to run into her right when she retrieved the Sun Magic, and had left Celestia. As far as we know, she no longer has any use for Celestia. She had obtained the power she wanted and she is through with the world.
Some would say she wanted to go back to "Pre-Celestia" and possess the Storm Titan, but the thing is...Where is the Storm Titan? All we know is that the Celestian's summoned the Storm Titan, though we are not sure where he actually is. Could Morganthe be going back in time to encase the Storm Titan once the Celestian's summoned him? Maybe, but this is very unlikely.
Now we have a pretty good idea of what Morganthe is about to do at this point of time and Johnny had made a great thread over at Wizard101 Central called "Morganthe101" that illustrates the Morganthe Arc clearly, so go check that out if you haven't already:
At the end of Azteca, Morganthe collected everything she needed and the prophecy that has been sung over and over the past 4 worlds has finally been completed, bringing the untimely doom to the ancient civilization of Azteca. We also took a good look at what powers Morganthe possesses. She brought down an ancient meteor, she has brought much of the dead back to life, including even the most powerful of them all, Malistaire himself. She has possessed several to fight under her, and she has produced an army of Goliaths, Weavers, and Spirits. Morganthe is VERY powerful, and I think we are going to see a whole lot more of this uncapped power in this final world.
Now finally, lets go through my theory. I think within this new update, whenever it may come out, that our wizards will explore the final BUG themed world inside of the Morganthe Arc. I also believe that the level capped will be raised to Level One Hundred and One, and here is why. The first ten levels will be accomplished through questing and exploring the final world, but I believe the final 1 level will be earned by going to a brand new school for magical arts. I think, by a small chance, that we might actually be graduating from Ravenwood College to explore another school of advanced arts. I think this Level 101 opportunity will be great for KI to implement the introduction of the new school.
This One level could include the actual graduation ceremony from Ravenwood, an acceptance ceremony to this new school, and the introduction to all of the teachers, with a couple of side quests and maybe a level 100 dungeon. With this, we could get brand new dormitories, A mount (Hopefully), and a utility spell that could be trained from our respective professor.
All in all, I think it's fair to say we are all excited to see what Kingsisle has in store for us in the future (Some a little more than others). We can also say it's fair to assume that this world is coming to us very very soon, so all I can say at this point is get ready to have "Wizard101 rocked".
